Organizing food festivals of African and Caribbean descent to promote black culture

Food is very synonymous to continental branding. Africa and black people in general must wake up to brand its colourful and highly flavoured cuisine that is currently under the radar. The popularity of foods from black communities will foster the branding and elevate interest from all quarters to the black communities and strengthen the diversity and inclusion of the black communities into the larger society.

AFRI-CAR will also be involved in charitable donations to the underprivileged. The charitable donations will assist in ensuring and improving food security by diverse innovations from AFRI-CAR. These efforts will soften the burden of government institutions in general, especially with the Food Bank.

The food festival is not limited to black communities; all other races are invited to participate in this food festival. AFRI-CAR will see food products of minority communities being integrated in the global supply chain.

We want to empower the black communities by driving diversity index across board, especially that relates to inclusion of the minorities in our society.

This we will do by organizing a food festival yearly. The first annual festival will be held on October 1, 2022 in the city of Mississauga at the Celebration Square.
